Maro Moodboard (My moodboard)

Hi everyone! I'm so excited to share this with you all! I spent a lot of time and effort creating this moodboard in my room and I absolutely love it!

I have actually wanted to do this mini personal project for a long time but I didn't get round to doing it. I watch a lot of Lilly Singh- IISuperwomanII on YouTube- she makes daily vlogs on her channel and she really inspired me to make this moodboard.

Referring to my previous blog post I said that this year is going to be all about positivity, focus and creativity! I created this moodboard to start off this brilliant year because it will constantly keep reminding me to stay focused and will uplift my mood without anyone having to do so! You don't need to rely on anyone to make you happy except yourself! For the next 2 years this is going to play a crucial part of my life because of the challenge I will be facing. This moodboard will motivate me and will bring me positive energy when I'm feeling demotivated or not feeling my best. We all have these days and we need something that will help us get through it all!

I actually thought my parents would just scan through the moodboard and walk away in a few seconds LOL but they actually stood there examining and analysing every little piece. I think they were quite shocked that I managed to put this together haha!

You will see a number of different themes in the moodboard;
Paris, Bollywood, Hinduism, India, Inkquisitive Illustration, Marilyn Monroe, Pharrell, Minions, Alice in Wonderland, Bob Marley, Gandhi, Hanuman, Krishna, Bhagavad Gita, The Lion King, Tinker Bell, Nelson Mandela, Ram Leela, Balam Pichkari from the film Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani
and many other things that inspire me or mean a lot to me.

(One thing I hadn't realised was that Deepika Padukone is in 4 photos in this moodboard! Clearly subconsciously she seems to inspire me lol!)

Every single image has been selected very carefully and every single one has a beautiful reason behind it ;)

Nav Varsh Ni Shubh Kaamna (Best wishes for the new year)

A very Happy New Year to you all!

And a massive THANK YOU to all you visitors of my blog! From my statistics I can see that it's actually reaching a global audience which I am absolutely overwhelmed with and so grateful. I didn't think it would reach that far. Many of you have messaged me with such encouraging positive words and it has made feel so humbled. Thank you once again.

This year is all about positivity.

I made big changes when this new year began:

  1.  I decided to really focus on myself, my family and my career. It's so important that you only focus on what is worthy of your time and effort.
  2.  In 2015 I left behind many friends who were ungrateful, unappreciative and blew me negative energy.
  3. I even made positive changes to myself; to give more and expect less.
  4. I started to make use of my creativity and develop my talents.
Then, life surprised me.

I am currently in the middle of an exciting personal project which I cannot wait to show you all on my next blog post!!

I'll leave you with a quote from Gandhi:

"Be the change you wish to see in the world"
